The article I have read today was about the San Diego Padres center fieldsmen being banned for 25 games. Mike Cameron is being banned for a POSITIVE drug test. As players EXAMINED the way Cameron began to play, they noticed it was not the same to his PREVIOUS games. Being banned will AFFECT Mike because he loosing out on a $2 million dollar salary. There is an ESTIMATE that he will be able to participate in spring training with unsigned minors. Just as the officials were going to announce Mikes' suspension he beat them to it! He told radio stations and the flagship station. Mike did say that he has never CONSUMED steroids before.
Reflection: I think that it is very discouraging that a really good player that has many fans takes drugs. I don’t think that it should be worth taken drugs for a $2 million dollar salary. Mike quoted that he wont go as low as taking steroids but I think that any drug isn't worth losing their career.
Interesting Fact- An interesting fact about this article is that he will be missing one sixth of 12 million dollars, because that is one-sixth of the season.
Jerry Glanville has brought back a positive style, attitude, and meaning to the black uniform in Portland. The former head coach at the Houston oilers and the Atlanta Falcons illustrates that the black uniform will help them create a since of fighting to there sprit. He estimates that they will be a top contender for the rose bowl. I think that Portland should instill fear in there opponents this year with the black uniform and fight for a division spot amongst the great players of college football. I feel that Jerry Glanville is creating a relationship with his players the more he treats them with respect. I know that this year will be Portland year to exceed and win.

The article was about students that would rather FOCUS on parties than MAINTAINING grades. This will AFFECT many of the students scores. Most kids STRATEGY'S is to party and get drunk and then try to go to school. The record of student ticket count exceeded 5,00 three times. SDSU student are begining to get in the home game spirit, and play the mascot ROLE. The CATEGORY'S for students weekend falls in the party's and having fun. An ESTIMATE of numbers of a BYU does in a game is 16,000. If kids continue to show up to their games there school will raise lots of money.
Reflection- I think that iit is funny that college kids show lots of school spirit. I think it is funny beacause these kids are like adults but they stil like to party and paint themselves on the face. Even though the ticket sells are going up, i think it will continue to increase every year.
Interestin facts-- It is interesting that more than 29,000 undergraduates at San Diego state, more than 85% still have one thing or choice on their minds for a saturday night.

;This morning I read an article in cnn news on a former employee from Oprah's school being arrested. The name of the suspect was not given but police say that the ex-matron is accused of physical abuse against girls at the school. The excused suspect also is being charged for solociting the girls for indecent acts. The suspect will appear in a court for family violence, child protection, and sexual offenses. So far the suspect is the only one empolyee being investigated.
;I don't have an opinion because the article does not say what actually happened to the girl at this school.
;One interesting fact is that all of the 152 girls at the school were hand picked by Oprah, all of them had straight A's, and they were all from underprivilleged backgrounds.
