San Diego Union Tribune: Abortions
The article I read today was about the studies that show legal status of abortions does not affect rates. It has been studied that the abortion trends from 1995 to 2003. It has also been experienced that abortion rates in poor and rich countries that it is unsafe. About 7,000 women die every year from unsafe abortions. About 5 million suffer temporarily injury. The vast majority of abortions have moved up to 35 million. Funds from the U.S government can not be used in any health services for abortion. Unsafe abortions usually come from the CATEGORY of people who lack skills or lack the minimum medical standards.
Reflection: I think that doctors who are not fully skilled at giving abortions should not be given the ROLE to operate. I am not against abortions or for them so it is hard for me give an opinion on whether the U.S should donate money for them. Although I do think that unskilled doctors should be punished for giving abortions even though they don’t know how because they are hurting people.
Interesting Fact : An interesting fact about this article is that in eastern Europe they CONSUME more abortions than live birth.

- The article that I read today was about over-the-counter - CATEGORY pediatric cold medicines being taken off the counter. CONSUMING chicken soup, saline nose drops and a vaporizer may sound like grandmas favorite antidotes. But such basic to basic remedies are what parents likely will have to use to treat tiny cold sufferers, because drug makers voluntarily pulled many kids cold medicines off the market yesterday. Fearing the products could be misused by parents and cause accidental overdoses. Some companies felt like it was their ROLE to withdraw over the counter products labeled for infants and children younger than 2. the move comes two weeks after safety reviewers in the food and drug administration urged the agency to consider a ban on decongestant and antihistamine products for children younger than 6.
- I think that this article is interesting. I think that this will affect many people. For the most part I think that it is good that they do this. I say this because I have known cases were little kids die because of overdose.

Girl, 5, testifies she was molested by a family friend♥.
This morning blog is based on the text i read in the Union Tribune. This story is about a girl who testified in court yesterday about a man who molested her. The child said that the man forced her to play a game that involved "touching thier privates." The little girl was shy about telling what happened but she did say that he would take her into his bedroom and tell her to take off her pants. She said no at first but then decided to because she did not want to get in trouble. Then he would touch her private with his. Because of the fact that the man who commited the crime has done this before, he was charged atuomatically. The man is being charged with two counts of lewd acts and if convicted he could face up to 25 years in prison.

It's sad to read these stories but if this man has played this role before why is he even around children. This category of tragedy and justice isn't always the most exciting to read about but I'm glad he's in jail now.

Video games is consuming kids lives
Parents are complaining that video games are consuming there children time when they can be outside playing. The role that video games is taking in kids lives are there best friends they start categorizing there friends by how long they play the game. Then kids are believing that they do not have to go to college they can be a video game tester, which is some one who examines, analyzes and test the game. These kids who are A students focus all there time to the game and some even give lessons on the appropriate way to play the game. Some of the kids schedules consists of video games twice in a sequence of events on there list of chores instead of actually work. To actually verify if this was true some video gamers told the parents to bring there kids in and they will identify if video games are a significant part of there lives. Positive event is that more productivity has been given to educational games to illustrate the affect of educational games. To estimate the time range this kids are staying on it is 6 hr which is almost a whole school day. This text that I have read has shown me that video games are not everything to life but you can play them once and awhile. Some of these kids say to maintain there time on the game they must hide it from parents. To simplify things for everybody who has read my morning blog is that video games are taking over households and the source that they derive from need to make a concisions effort to put more education in them.

Mexico City man suspected of being cannibal serial killer
The TEXT I read to in the news article I will write about will be very interesting. In Mexico City, police ANALIZED a man IDENITFIED as Jose Luis Calva Zepeda, who is 40 years of age who was arrested recently on Monday. Jose was held as suspicion of homicide, after EXAMINATIONS were made into the disappearance of his girlfriend. When police DERIVED the AFFECT that Jose may have had something to do with the case, the searched his house where they found a disfigured body of a women found in Jose’s closet, who was later VERIFED as Alejandra Galeana, 30. Police also CONSTRUCTED a assumption that led to SIGNIFICANCE ESTIMATION that Jose Zepeda, killed and mutilated not only the women found in his closet but other two women as well. Investigators FOCUSED mainly on the search around Zepeda’s home. Zepeda has been CONSUMED as cannibalism, when other chunks of flesh CONSISTED in his home. That day where he was first arrested, Jose tried to flee but fell of his balcony from his apartments, which he later had to be sent to the hospital for have to go through a POSITIVE battery of psychological testing. Investigators MAINTAINED the observations of Zepeda and the limbs that were found in his house, testing to see if they come from human. Later once all investigations have been made about the limbs and the bodies found in Jose’s house make APPROPRIATE suggestions to SIMPLIFY all the hypothesis made upon the suspect. One thing they do know about Zepeda that is certain is that he is a poet and writer of horror tales. Calva has been CATEGORIZED as a failed screen writer who tried to sell his scripts as ROLES played in horror movies. Today i read about abortions and how they anr dangerous wherever they are done. they are done mostly where people have money but it is still the same surgery and alot of women die from it. It is unsafe to the max and i dont think it is worth doing. abotu 7,000 women died the last couple of years due to abortions. and there are like 5 million that suffer injuries due from the surgery.There are also alot of abortions being done these days because alot of young girls are getting pregnant and their parents are letting them keep it or they just cant afford to keep it.
i think that abortions are just not worth it and i think it would be better just for them to have it and at least send it to a foster home. but its really there choice and i think they shoudl just practice safe sex.

The article I read today was about medicines that are being taken off the shelves. The food and drug administation urged the agency to take off the shelves some pediatric cold medicines because they fear that parents maybe miusing the products. They fear that if parents misuse the medicines they could cause accidental overdoses. Parents think that with them buying over-the-counter medicines their children are going to get better with these type of medicines. What the parents dont know is that these medicines dont shorten the duration of the illness, and decongestants in particular they dont help very much. the medicines that have been taken of the shelves already are: Wyeth's Dimetapp Decongestant Infant Drops and Robitussin Infant Cough Drops DM Drops; Prestige Brands' Little Colds Decongestant Plus Cough; Johnson & Johnson Pediacare Infant Drops Decongestant and Tylenol Concentrated Infant Drops Plus Cold and Cough; and Novartis Triaminic Infant and Toddler Thin Strips Decongestant. Owners of CVS's are even thinking about removing the affected products as well as CVS brands. Fears are increasing that cough and cold medicines may be dangerous to young children.
Reflection
I think that all this about them pediatric cold medicines being taken off shelves is a good idea. Mothers now and days dont take there kids to the doctors when they see them sick usually they just buy some over-the-counter medicine, what they dont know is that they are putting there children to risk for overdosein and stuff like that. I think parents should just take there kids and get checked by the doctor and let them prescribe a medicine.
The most intresting fact I read was that at least 45 children died in the United States between 1969 and 2006 after taking decongestants commonly found in cold medications, and 69 died after taking antihistamines.
PROTECT KIDS FROM SECONDHAND SMOKE
This article is trying to illustrate the harms of secondhand smoke. Kids consume a lot of smoke when it is being derived by a parent in a car or at home. This debate consists of an argument that had been focused on the health of the children at danger. It said that parents were not following their role as a parent and identifying the problem. Gov. Schwarzenegger verifiedthat the appropriate action was to simplify the problem and make it illegal to smoke in a car with a minor. The positive text in the legislation analyzed the situation and is supported by many categorized health advocates. Some significant facts are that children with still-developing lungs maintain the risk to experience the sequence of actions that constructs heart disease. After examining the problem, government knew they couldn’t estimate any other time to act but now.
I like that people are protesting this as a national problem. I do smoke cigarettes but I don’t like to smoke around kids. I agree with these people because they are conservatives.
The law was affected and this problem was now noted as child abuse.
Man shot by agent is lifted from ravine. A Border Patrol Agent shot a man. He then needed to hauled out of a 500 foot ravine, which had consumed him. Soon after he was sent to the hospital, last night. No details about what led to the shooting were available from Border Patrol officials. They notified the sheriff’s department. They also notified the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection about 7p.m. A Call Fire dispatcher said the wounded man was stuck in an area categorized as a ravine off Barrett Smith Road near state Route 94. the man was hoisted up and then flown by Mercy Air to Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego.
I believe the shooting may have been caused because the man could have been playing that old role of the drugsumggler. Or he could also have been immigrant smuggling. Or he might have even been illegal himself.
I found it interesting that he was shot and no one knows how it started.
I was reading an article in the newspaper today called “Pediatric Cold Medicines Being Taken Off Shelves”. The article was very interesting and it was about how some medicine companies have pulled some of their medicine in the infant and toddlers category of cold medicine off the shelves. They did this as a prevention from. The companies believe that parents could accidentally overdose their children by giving them too much medicine for a small cough. Children younger than six can be really sick if they consume a big dosage of medicine. Parents can play a major role, without intention, in the harm of their children by giving them medicine. Some of the parents overreact in some cases and they give their children medicine that is to strong for them. This was urged on after the reviewers of the FDA’s agency talked to the companies and urged a ban on these medicines. Dosage mistakes could be harmful and even fatal in small children. So I believe it to be good that these companies are worrying about their customers.
I was reading this article that identifies the appropriate way that some companies have cared for their customers. The article was called “Pediatric Cold Medicines Being Taken Off Shelves”. The main focus of the article consisted of examining the problem that most parents encounter when self medicating their children. Parents can play a major role, without intention, in affecting their children by giving them medicine. The text in the article was in a very appropriate and constructed in a very orderly manner. The article just wants to simplify the lives of the parents. They just want to verify that the parents are well informed and that their children don’t get sick with their medicine. This concern derives from the visit the medicine companies had by the FDA. The FDA urged the companies to analyze their products and determine if the dose could be harmful if accidentally more was swallowed. In its sequence, the companies had a positive outcome. Dosage mistakes could be harmful and even fatal in small children so it was a very good thing that the article illustrates the importance of pulling out their products from over the counter. The article maintains a good argument and estimates the amount of children that are affected by over dosage by their parents. It is significant to point out that the medicine was not bad. What was bad was the amount of medicine the parents gave to their children.
