Riches plane but the worst aircraft

The riches plane has taken two flights. The DP-2 has been funded with 63million dollars. The two flights were in a combine total time of 45-second. Over the past few months the airplane was bashed because of all the money that has been put into it and there is nothing to show for it. Although the two flights were brief it gave enough time for buyers examine the plane. Jet scientist analyze how fast can it go, how far can it go will it is at high speed. This plane focus on speed and agility. This plane illustrate that where the taxes of good Americans are going. People estimate that in a couple of days the price of this plane will be going up. The positive affect of this plane is that we could use some of this technology on fighter planes. The exhaust engines maintain a construct vertical area to the airplane. I think that America is wasting peoples money on a airplane that got bad reviews. We need to let go off the DP-2 and not waste money on it anymore.

Parents beat child over not doing homework ♥.

The text I read consisted of a five year old girl who has been getting beat by her parents over the past few months. The father is accused of this regualr behavior and admits to it. He says that he was simply disciplining his daughter because she would not do her homework. But it was not only the father, the step mother had a major role in the abuse too. The step mom is being charged with 2 counts of child abuse. Police say they identified an estimate of 100 wounds on the five year old. The father admitted that this was regualar when his daughter would not do her assignments. He would also get her to sit in push-up posiition, placed his foot on her back, and asked her questions. If she answered wrong, he would bat her with a military belt. In the same situation, the step mom would hit her with a computer cord on various parts of her body. Results show that the damage to the daughter was external and not internal. The little girl is currently in the custody of child protective services.

reflection ♥.
I think it's sad that this is just one of the few people that actually get caught. There are plenty of other people getting abused and still no one knows about it- and if they do, they are too frightened to notify police.

interesting fact ♥.
Mesa Police say this is the worst case of child abuse they`ve seen.

- The san Diego union tribune
- Hillside on mount Soledad fails; 55 homes evacuated
- The article that I read today was about a landslide on Mount Soledad. It says that a disaster foretold in July by cracks appearing in pavement and homes along Soledad mountain road struck suddenly yesterday morning when a massive slab of hillside broke loose, sending tons of dirt cascading towards streets below. Of course the major factor was the cracks that weren't being paid attention. This incident consist of two houses destroyed, 15 were left uninhabitable. The landslide affected the streets which were impassable. No one was injured. The whole mess started at about 9 a.m.
- I think that this article is pretty sad. But I feel lucky that it didn’t happen where I live. So it looks like it is significant where you build your home.
- One interesting thing that I learned is that 111 homes were affected.

3,000 South African minors trapped by elavator damage!:

In the article I have read today, it was about how an elevator has been damaged and CONSIST of 3,000 minors trapped inside. An ESTIMATE of 1,200 people were rescued. As rescuers EXAMINED the problem they CONSTRUCTED how deep the hole is to get them out. If rescuers put all of there FOCUS to rescue the minors it will take several hours. Many of the minors have been POSITIVE and been able to MAINTAIN themselves from being in a hole for 28 hours. Many of the minors are waiting patiently to hear the VOICE of there family’s. When the first worker was IDENTIFIED and pulled to safety he was given a sandwich and a bottle of water. If I were to ILLUSTRATE his face, it would be really joyful. After all workers get rescued workers are still wondering how will this AFFECT there working futures. One of the major FACTORS of this problem is that minors have to see how staying in a hole without food affected their bodies.
I think it is a good thing that lots of people survived from being stuck in a hole for two days. The SIGNIFICANCE of the article is that the men came out alive. I think the hardest part of this problem was how the rescuers were going to PLOT a way to get them out. It would have been easier for the rescuers to ANALYZE the DERIVE situation and then rescue them.
An interesting fact in the TEXT I have read was that the minors were in a hole for two days with out and food or water. It was an APPROPRIATE thing to do giving the minors food and water because they deserved it.

Today i read about the Landslide in La Jolla that did SIGNIFICANT damage to an ESTIMATE od 111 homes in the area. They had a man ILLUSTRATE the city and what the lanslide looked like and to make it easier for people to understand. There was no POSITIVE outcome from all of this but all they can do now is think about how they are going to CONSTRUCT their homes agian. There was alot of houses even the owners couldnt IDENTIFY .The whole thing CONISTS of the eastside of mount soledad and into and overlooking the I 5. But they were able to FOCUS and evacuate all the poeple that were in the way of danger. Thanks to the community helpers they were able to MAINTAIN the damage the best they could but the AFFECT was still to be done by the landslide. ONE homeowner on the other hand just sat and tried to EXAMINE his house and tried to PLOT out a plan forhow to rebuild of his house. The stituation was very DERIVE but everyone was alble to hold in the anger and act APPROPRIATE because after all this wasnt anyones fault. Alot of homeowners wanted their voice to be heard on the news because of how their insurance was not going to pay for the damage or at least help but not much could say on tv.

on this TEXT i read today there are alot of interesting facts and inside on this story but the main FACTOR is how big the issue really is and how many people are actually going to be homeless for a little bit. Ive had to ANALYZE this story really well to actually know what is going on in and around the city and this could to happen here in chula vista or something like that but i guess we just have to be safe and depend on the community to help us out to and take care of our community while we do the same.

1,327 arrested in S. California immigration raids.

In the article I read, it states that "More than 1,300 illegal immigrants in five Southern California counties were arrested in the past two weeks during one of the nations largest immigration sweeps." It is one of the largest immigration enforcement actions ICE has ever taken. Most of the arrested are behind bars in various areas throughout California. Many of the illegal immigrants have records of gang violence, criminal records including drug trafficking, domestic violence, and sexual assault. Violators are from over 30 different countries. Julie Myers, the ICE's Assistant Secretary says that illegal immigration is going to stop! The government is factoring out a plot to stop illegal immigration and voice out to others to help stop it.

I think its amazing how they could catch so many in so little time. And i wonder what they are going to do with the illegal immigrants, they can't just keep them inside jail, because that's keeping them in America and letting them live a free life with meals everday and a place to live

For many years San Diego county had evaded cases of West Nile virus. Other counties near San Diego have suffered from the virus but thankfully San Diego had not seen any citizens affected. That is until recently that 15 different cases of the virus have been known to happened in the San Diego area. Of the 15 patients six were bitten by infected mosquitoes in this county the others were bitten outside of the San Diego area. Since the cases have been reported officials have been voicing to raise awareness of the situation. officials plot to keep the citizens safe. They have addressed the public and asked them to clear stagnant pools that have been known to be breeding spots for mosquitoes. They have also asked for the removal of plant saucers, watering cans and buckets, anything that could hold water. The restrictions might seem harsh but they are necessary to keep the disease away from the people. Awareness is a key factor in keeping the citizens healthy.

Bush vetoes child health insurance plans
There was a new law that was passed to allow those people who don’t apply to medical or other health insurance plans to be qualified. A legislation was passed to add additional $35 over 5 years to allow an extra 4 million children who need the health insurance program. The goal of this legislation was basically to help families who earn enough to not qualify for medical, but not enough to afford their own private coverage. Democrats in the Congress had passed the legislation with enough support from Republicans to be granted. Hoping that this would benefit the health of many children who don’t get health care. But as this came upon President Bush he decided to not allow the legislation to pass. Bush believes that this new law would be helping the higher income families. He also stated that the bill was too costly in helping the poor, and that his suggestion was to only put $5 billion for funding. He also plans to change those people who are in the program right now to government coverage, but he does not state any plans for those who were not qualified to health insurance. My opinion on Bush is that I don’t think he is the right leader for us right now. I think we spend more money on making fancy buildings and other things that I don’t really see as necessities which factors that Bush doesn’t make good ideas . I think we should plot the money spending on things we need like health plans or more schools and libraries and more job places. I hope that for the next election the people will voice out what they feel, and choose someone better to be president. Because as many of us seen Bush does not have good decisions for our country and instead really isn’t solving anything.

Today I have read a short article called Security guards kill 2 in Iraq. In Baghdad two Armenian Christian women died yesterday when their car was riddled by gunfire form an Australian run security company linked to the same U.S government agency whose guards opened fire across a crowded Baghdad square 3 weeks ago. Yesterdays killings made Iraqi civilians look at them as mercenaries with little regard for Iraqi lives. In yesterdays shootings as many as 19 bullets struck the car. Killing the driver and the passenger in the front seat. A woman and a boy in the back seat survived. They have now launched investigations. The violence broke when an SUV’s belonging to Unity were heading east along a six lane. The white car carrying four people drove toward the convoy from behind them. Then the gunner in the last vehicle threw open a door and tossed what looked like a flare then fired into the Oldsmobile. They say that they only fired because they issued them to stop and they couldn’t so they thought that they were trying to attack. I think that this is a very tragic story. Everyday thousands of people are dying in Iraq. I wish that this war would end. We don’t need this fighting.
