George Clooney is one of the best actor his latest film is showing him as a serious actor . He plays a lawyer that does some dirty jobs he calls himself the janitor. The movie was voted 3 stars and now it is now stated as the best movie of the winter it could be a good movie considering the fact I have not seen the movie. I feel that this movie will be good because George Clooney is a terrific actor t even if the dialogue is bad then George Clooney's acting will make the movie better. The other actors in this movie consists of Tom Wilkson and Sydney Pollack. These actors are the supporting actors of the movie both play as friends that are not sure of there friend Michael Clayton (George Clooney).

Balboa Park
I read about the Balboa Park memories. People that go to the Balboa Park don’t just see decorated buildings and lush gardens. There’s more than a century of other park landmarks. All those other park landmarks are long gone but they are remembered in hundreds of postcards that show the park back then. David Marshall, the architect in San Diego, whose firm, heritage Architecture and planning, has worked on a couple of reconstructed park buildings and planning projects. David has also collected more than 2,000 postcards and assembled 128 pages of them in a book called “San Diego’s Balboa Park” its published from Arcadia Publishing. David thinks that most cards probably come from estate sales after people pass away.
Reflection:
I think that all the memories on the Balboa Park are nice. Its nice to live in a city or state where there’s still stuff of our culture that have been here for many years. I have never been around the whole park of Balboa but the parts that I’ve been to there wonderful and exciting.
Fact:
An interesting fact I read about Balboa Park is that it’s the nation's largest urban cultural park.
Fires
Yesterday around noon fires broke out in San Diego county and have lasted to Monday morning. Over 13,000 acres have been burned to the ground. A lot of high school have been closed for today as well as jobs. On the radio this morning one lady was talking about the condition of the air it is black with a burnt chicken stench to it. As well as the ground covered in ashes as if the you were walking in snow.
As far as kids some people have been scared to put there kids in situation to get there kids in danger. I feel that these fires are showing the strength of San Diego county.
In the TEXT I have read today was about the year old Chula Vista mall struggling to meet expectations. Chula vista officials were PLOTTING to make a mall with the favorites of stores. Chula vista mall has been lagging the most liked stores. Chula vista mall is going to have to step it up in order to keep the mall standing. The mall will be better off if it CONSIST more stores. Or at least better ones. This will AFFECT the store owners because if people aren't going to the mall then they are losing money. Otay ranch mall has just opened and is said that officials were waiting for another mall like this one. A major FACTOR is that there might be to many malls being built at one time.
Reflection: I think that it is true that Chula vista mall does not have enough good stores, but it is a fun place to be. Chula vista mall also has a movie theatre and some good stores. If it would get more stores then I think the mall would improve in getting more money if more people went to it.
Interesting Fact: An interesting fact is that Otay ranch is considered a really POSITIVE mall to go to.
In the article titled, Georgia declares drought a crisis I read about the crisis that is currently happening to Lake Lanier. Lake Lanier is a 38,000 acre reservoir that supplies water to more than 3 million homes and it about to run dry. Because of this Georgia officials have tried to curve water usage to protect two species of muscles that live downstream of the reservoir. Some people feel that the bill is being used to take water from the Florida lakes. Some measures have already been taken toward water conservation as watering have been restricted to weekends. I believe that preservation is an important to things so even if they are doing this for the wrong reason it is better to preserve the majority.
The article I read about this morning was about quagga mussels. I read in the article that quagga mussels are dangerous for the bodies of water. Quagga mussels are small but hardy molluska that have invaded the region’s reservoirs. They are mollusks that reproduce in prolific numbers, clustering together like barnacles. They live in fresh water from the surface to more than 400 feet deep. The quaggas are beginning to become problem for pipes and ecosystems. The officials hope to release a plan for controlling quagga’s before they clog pipes and harm the ecosystem of reservoirs. The pipes and ecosystems provide drinking water to millions of people so that’s a reason why there are dangerous.
Reflection
I think that the article I read about today which is quagga mussels are most interesting. I never thought that something so small could be a problem. If the quaggas mussels are dangerous to the pipes and the ecosystem of reservoirs they should do whatever it is to prevent something dangerous.
Fact
Something interesting I read about quagga mussels is that they are about the size of a thumbnail, have no human food value, and most birds and fish avoid them.
Motive not known in killings of six men. This took place in Surrey, British Columbia. This occurred on October 20, 2007. Canadian investigators said they could not find motive in the situation. There were six men found. They apparently found the bodies in a Vancouver-area apartment building. The murderer was unknown also. As were the bodies found.
I think its strange that the motive is unknown. It was probably done out of sickness of pure pleasure. I hope they find the killer.
I thought It was interesting that this person was able to kill 6 people and get away and all six people couldn’t stop this person.
Baja’s Burden
As you cross the border to Tijuana you can smell in the air that the state is full of pollution. Population in Baja California is increasing by the minute. Builders are constructing many new homes. These homes are for residential areas close to the beaches. But what the contractors of these new homes do not state that the homes are less than a few hundred feet away from Punta Bandera, the states run sewage treatment plan. Causing many of these residential areas and part of the reason for Tj’s funky smell. So although these people may be thinking that they are making a good deal buying these luxury homes, they actually aren’t. The worst thing of all that the water sewerage consists of about 30 million gallons a day. For which only 25 million gallons are treated. And the treatment that these waters receive is chlorine to kill the bacteria. But the rest of the 5 million gallons that are left untreated are run through pipes and later dumped into the ocean. Eww, I think it is really nasty that Tijuana is dirty and dumping water into the oceans where many swim. And what about our beaches like Imperial Beach does that contaminate our waters as well. I guess it is no longer save to swim in the beaches especially because of all that dirty water. It could cause you to get a bad swimmers ear infection with later results of fungus. I think Tijuana should really try to take care of their polluted waters. But I doubt that they really will take care of their situations, being that they are low in money. So I wonder what will happen next…..
