♥ This morning I read an article on the importance of your Social Security number and how not every business that asks you for your Social Security number actually needs it. The whole chaos initially started when people raced to buy the new iPhone. The issue has been a hot topic for bloggers on news.com and other similar websites. AT&T spokesman defended the practice as a standard request for monthly service plans. The company uses the information to perform credit checks. But AT&T is not only ones who ask for your social security number- now a days schools, utilities, health clubs, credit bureaus, insurance companies, and video stores all want it. At the same time, consumer advocacy groups and government agencies ae telling people to limit the use of their number. The Social Security number was established in 1835 for the purpose of tracking earnings and paying retirement benefits. There are only a few organizations who actually have the right to demand it and in which it is appropriate to give your number.
♥ One should always focus carefully when asked to give your Social Security because one person finding your Social Security number consists of sharing your identity and bad credit.
Woman dead, roommate hurt in fight at University of Arizona.
In Tucson, Arizona, a fight between two roommates occured. The fight lead to the death of 18 year-old Mia Henderson. Previously to her death, about a week before, Mia reported to the police that her roommate was stealing from her. The surviving womans name was not released. With Mia reporting that her roommate steals, the theft was a investigative lead toward other people who have reported their property stolen in the residential hall. Mia told officers that she was not going to stay in her room until her stealing roommate was gone. After the fight, the university was not locked down, but every student, faculty and staff was sent an email advising them about the investigation. The university has been stricter on their security since the day a flunking student of nursing school went on a shooting spree in October 2002 killing 3 members of the nursing faculty before committing suicide.
I think that there is more to the stealing roommate. Obviously Mia Henderson knew she did not feel safe around her roommate because she did not want to be in the same room as her. Maybe there was a confrontation in the middle of the night, or early in the morning, but either way, maybe the confrontation did not go as it should have. The roommate is most likely crazy, and it is sad that this little situation ended up in her death, when she was the victim from the beginning.
BOAT WASHES ASHORE IN LA JOLLA
The article that i read this morning consist of the boat that was washed ashore in La Jolla yesterday. A boat believe to be used to smuggle people into the united states washed ashore yesterday morning. The article was really focused on the fact that they had used the boats to smuggle people in from other places and people that were not from the US. A homeless woman that was sleeping nearby told the lifeguards who were notified of the boat at 4:20am that she had seen about 10 people dressed in black come out of the water and run away. Investigators suspect, that because there were about 8 boats stolen frmo Mission Bay Park, only six were found and still 2 missing. they think that this one of the 2 that were missing. So they think that the appropriate thing to do is to investigate as much as they can before it gets more worse.
This article was interesting. But yet its scandalous, becasue they are sneeking other people over here through a boat??? hahah i guess.

Police found the garage by tracking the movements of three men after one of them, a German national who had converted to islam, was seen in December casing a US military barracks at Hanau, in central Germany.
-I think that this article is pretty interesting. It is amazing how people can make bombs out of this that can be purchased legally. I wonder what would happen if they hadn't caught them. I wonder where their target was. I think that this is not APPROPIATE.
-One interesting thing that I learned is that they CONSIST of the Islamic Jihad Union, a terrorist group set up in Uzbekistan and that it has ties to al-Qaeda and training camps in Pakistan.

I think that it is good that they found this garage full of bomb making chemicals. The reason it is good is not only because it was going to be used for terrorism but because they were oplanning to use this on the us. and now that they have tookin all the chemicals and they arrested all three people in suspicion.

ROBBER IS SHOT BY RETIRED OFFICER
It all focused on a retired police officer who was walking around yesterday. A 43-year-old man happened to confront him and tried to rob the retiree. He was near Country Club Lane at about 1:50 a.m. when someone pointed a gun at him and demanded money. The retired officer, who was also armed, appropriately shot the man in the shoulder. The wounded man then drove to a store and told the clerk he had been shot on the freeway. When the police arrived, they received a 911 call consisting of a retired cop who ran to a home for help. The wounded man was a 23-year-old San Diego resident. He was treated at a hospital and booked into jail on suspicion of attempted robbery.
I think this man did something really stupid. He should have gone somewhere else instead of a store, knowing the cops would come and link it all together. This man is a stupid criminal that doesn’t deserve a chance to do it again.
This all took place in Escondido.

Electric shavers can act similar to razors allowing you to shave your legs, arms, underarms, or even any bikini line area. Using electric shavers is a best result for those who have sensitive skin.
Abandoned boat being investigated
Lifeguards found life jackets and other items on a boat yesterday at Wipeout Beach in La Jolla. The boat was believed to have been used to smuggle people into the United States. A homeless woman said he saw 10 people come out of the water. The boat was a 24-foot shipjack was dumped early yesterday at Wipeout Beach, south of the lifeguard tower at Children’s Pool. Authorities are trying to determine who owns the boat. The interesting part is that the boat was registered to a San Diego resident who sold it in 2002, it has not been registered since. The fuel tank of the badly damaged boat, as well as the engine cover, were on the beach♣♣♣
Germany police arrested nine men yesterday under the suspicion of an act of terrorism from these men. All nine were alleged to be in on a complot to create a bomb that was equivalent to1,200 pounds of TNT. German police got the lead to these men after following one that was seen casing a U.S. military barracks. Then the men were kept on watch, finally, police officers found their lair and in the lair found 1,500 pounds of moderate hydrogen peroxide that they had no doubt would be used as bomb explosive. Officers decided that they would substitute the explosives with non-explosive chemicals before arresting them . So police left the scene and kept the terrorists under watch. Then they made the arrest after suspect tried to ignite the bombs and failed frustrating their attempts and making try to flee. When they tried to run away police officers moved in an made the arrests. The men between the ages of 18-33 were all German residents and all had links to al-Qaeda. It is appropriate to make notice that these men were already under surveillance before they were arrested. So fortunately they did were not bale to cause any pain to anybody.

At two thirty p.m. on Tuesday they finally arrested them. They believe that other Danish people are also involved in another place for being involved in this terrorist attempt. I think that this is terrible why cant they just leave innocent people alone.
