Today i read about the Chargers game bringing more than 100 arrests. MISSION VALLEY: More than 100 people were arrested during Sunday's San Diego Chargers game against the Chicago Bears at Qualcomm Stadium, and more than 250 others were ejected by San Diego police and stadium security personnel, said stadium officials.
Most of those ejected were removed for smoking, officials said. Most of the arrests were for drunkenness or fighting, said stadium spokesman Erik Stover.

Last season, officials sought to give warnings about the then new smoking restrictions in force at the stadium, he said. This year, officials are being more aggressive in their enforcement, as some fans continue to ignore the smoking restrictions.
I think that its not just the game that is being played that is causing the people to fight or to get into trouble. i think it is the fact that the people are drunk and they arent in their right state of mind and they do not know exactly what they are doing at the moment but it is not because of the chargers playing. It might be that they are drinking because they are all into the game but they are not getting into problems because of the game.

more than 100 arrests.

♥ Lincoln Dealer Wants YOUTo Own L.T.'s Truck.
♥ This morning I read an article on peoples' chance to buy the ultimate San Diego Chargers tailgating vehicle. Witt Lincoln Mercury is selling on eBay a 2006 Lincoln Mark LT truck that has been driven for the past year by L.T., San Diego Chargers superstar. The truck is a four-door truck was part of his endorsement agreement with the San Diego automobile dealership, and the recordsetting running back clocked only 16,000 mile on his truck. The dealership owner, Ed Witt, says that this is the truck that he drove when he made NFL history and the truck he drove to all practices and games that gave San Diego hope again. Joking around Ed Witt added that there is probably some L.T. DNA in it. The ebay auction was scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. and will continue until 6 a.m. Sept. 17, 2007. Thr truck has a base price of $47,000 and the dealer spent another $20,000 fixing it up with L.T.'s request. Some of L.T.'s requests were to upgrade the sound system and putting 26 inch rims on it. Tomlinson even agreed to autograph the dashboard after the sale. Although the auction could draw bids from across the country, Witt is hoping that the buyer will a local San Diego Chargers fan that will drive it to all the games at Qualcomm Stadium. L.T.'s new ride is a 2007 Navigator Luxury Edition with everything painted black from the custom paint job to the tailpipes. Ed Witt said that his new car is like a car on steriods. =)
♥ I like the idea and also hope that the lucky buyer who gets the car is a local fan.
♥ Interesting Fact: Ed Witt, the dealership owner, said tyhat some of proceeds will be donoted to L.T.'s charity funds.

Today I red about Sadness anger hope six years after 9/11. For this the sixth anniversary of the deadliest terrorist attack on U.S. soil, The San Diego Union-Tribune wanted to find out what comes to mind when people think of Sept. 11, 2001. Others offered intensely personal thoughts about how they've been changed by what they witnessed that morning six years ago. We received more responses than we could possibly print The morning of September 11, 2001 was full of terror and tremendous sadness yet the afternoon brought welcomed peace and great joy as our grandson was born at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in San Diego Below are a few of them It was the day Americans put aside their differences and wept together. Sept. 11 reminds me that we should cherish life each day to its fullest and love God with all our hearts and just love our family and our fellow man.”

-Baja clinic shut down for unorthodox care reopens
-An alternative health clinic that was shut down last year by Baja state health officials after it was linked to the death of coreta Scott king has quietly reopened and may be operating illegally. The clinic, hospital Santa Monica in Rosarito beach appears to be offering the kind of unorthodox care treating cancer with insulin or using unproven experimental vaccines. That landed it in trouble after the 78 year old widow of the Rev. martin Luther king jr. died there in January 2006. the Mexican hospital whose marketing is conducted by an affiliated Chula vista firm, is in the same building where hospital Santa Monica operated before the shutdown.
-I think that this article is pretty boring. I don’t really see any point in this but i have to read it.
-I didn’t really learn any thing new in this article except for that coreta scott king died in that hospital.

U.S. citizen gets 24 years for aiding terrorists

A man from Sacramento Valley was sentenced to 24 years in federal prison for attending an al-Qaeda terrorist training camp in Pakistan. He was also plotting to attack targets in the U.S. The name of the man is Hamid Hayat, a U.S. citizen who turned 25 yesterday. Hayat was convicted in April of last year of providing material to support terrorism and lying to FBI about it. When the sentence was read, Hayat had no visible reaction, and then his family sat quietly in the back of the courtroom. Outside the court, his relatives lashed out at the prosecution. The case began after an FBI informant befriended Hayat and began secretly tape-recording him at his home. During those discussions, Hayat praised al-Qaeda and expressed support for Pakistan’s government.

I think that this man got the sentence he deserved and that he should do the full sentence. If that was the only way to catch him, I think recording the conversations was good. I agree with the judge for the sentence that he gave Hayat.

Hamid Hayat could have received up to 39 years in prison but he had no previous record.

Unsanitary conditions

A clinic in Rosarito Beach, Baja California was closed down last year after late Martin Luther King Jr.’s widow was to be treated there and died in January of 2006. reports say that the clinic has reopened under a new name and under the representation of Kurt Donsbach of Bonita. The man has no ability as a doctor yet in the hospitals website the man is alleged to promise miraculous cures and speedy recoveries with no infections and even cures for cancer. Donsbach promises that he has speedy cures for things such as lupus, cancer and scoliosis. The clinic has been targeting people with diseases and that are old and desperate to find a cure. The hospital promises impossible things and tries to force its patients to believe or they won’t be cured. They say that if they don’t have faith in the clinic they won’t get cured. People that have already been to the clinic say the conditions are unsanitary and that the patients all get treated with the same medicines even if they have different diseases.

Suicides spike among preteen, teen girls.

The SUiCiDE rate among preteen and young teen girls spiked 68 percent, a disturbing sign that federal health officials say they cant fully explain. For all people from ages 10 to 24, the suicide rate rose 8 percent from 2003 to 2004 the biggest single-bump in 16 years, in what officials called "a dramatic and huge increase." the report, that was based on the latest numbers available, was release yesterday by the national Centers For Disease Control and Prevention and suggests a troubling, reversal in recent trends. Suicide rates among youths had fallen 28.5 percent since 1990. The biggest increase aboaut 68 percent was in the suicide rate for girls 10 to 24. There were 94 suicides in 2004, compared with 56 in 2003. The rate is still low fewwer that one per 100,000 population.
This article was sad, because its sad how girls are killing each other. And girls feeling so insecure about themselves. Girls should feel that way about themselves.

Odds are that Craig will resign after all.

Washington, Republican senators expressed relief yesterday in the hearing that Sen. Larry Craig has signaled that he will surrender his seat within a few weeks, rather than to fight to complete his term. Craigs spokesman Dan Whiting said yesterday that the senator was focused on trying to clear his name and help Idaho prepare for a replacement.

The article that I read as seen on cnn .com was about two young mothers who brutally beat an elderly women . One of the attackers was pregnant at the time. These insane women left this poor defenseless old women lying in a puddle of blood. It was said that the women was punched several times and after these two women got the old ladies purse they continued to brutally beat her. These women took the old ladies credit card and had bought thousands dollars of clothes the same day. The next day the pregnant attacker was caught she claimed to have nothing to do with it. The other women was also caught. It was said that the other women had a 7 month old baby home alone during this sad tragedy.
I think that these women were probably lying about not having to anything with the attack .
I feel that these women should serve more time for what they did

Union Tribune: Two drivers caught after fleeing form checkpoint.
Yesterday was a wild night for sheriffs deputies conducting a DUI checkpoint in Lemon Grove. They chased down a driver who crashed into a patrol car and they fired shots at another motorist who tried to run them down. Deputies began looking for drunken drivers at 8 pm Friday at checkpoint on Broadway east of North Avenue. They stopped a guy once the cop got out the teenager driver hit the gas pedal and sped through the parking lot with two other passengers nearly hitting deputies nearby. They led the deputies into a chase thru two freeways and streets. At one point the driver slammed into a patrol car and kept going . He finally bailed out at Santo Road and Shields street in Tierrasanta and ran. The police dog picked up the pursuit and bit the teen. The teenager had no drivers license. I think that its so stupid. They don’t realize how much they are risking. They are putting their lives on the line and also innocent people how retarded.

Human Body System
Today I read about bone structure which is made up of net of protein fibers , such as collagen filled in with calcium and phosphate. Because of these types of networks made up in ones bones it helps it to stay strong and alive. Each year ten percent of its mass is being renewed constantly. In order to make this process happen cells, called osteoclasts break down old bone, mean while the osteoblasts cells build a new bone. There are two types of bones in the skeleton compact bone, and spongy bone. Compact bone, is designed up of tiny tubes of osteons which are bones, that form the outer shell. The other bone in a skeleton is the spongy bone (cancellous), which makes up a lighter inner layer. Often found within the spongy bone, and the medullary cavity (central space of long bones) is something called a bone marrow. Red marrow is something that is made up of blood cells, meantime the yellow marrow stores all the fat. What I like about learning about bone structure is that cancellous is a honeycombed structure . And trabeculae (little beams) are both used to help make bones light, but at the same time make them strong as well. One interesting fact I learned was that 99% of the body’s calcium is in the bones and teeth.

I read about a storm in Columbus Ohio. Storms slammed rain soaked Ohio yesterday as hundreds of thousands of people in the Midwest were without power after their homes were battered by lashing winds and flooding rains. Tornado warnings were issued late last Sunday for parts of central southeast Ohio. Unspecified damage from straight-line winds was reported in the central part of the state, though a tornado had not been confirmed said National Weather Service meteorologist Andy Hatzos. Flooding last week spread across an 80 mile swath through the northwest and north-central parts of the state. Powerful storms rolling through the upper Midwest during most of the past week caused disastrous floods from southeastern Minnesota to Ohio that were blamed for 18 deaths. More than 100,000 customers were without power. About 120,000 ComEd customers in northern Illinois remained without power last Sunday. ComEd spokesman Joe Trost said that power to more than half a million customers had been restored since Thursday’s storms, but it could take days to restore power to all customers. The storms in Illinois were responsible for at least one death, when a man was struck by a wind toppled tree

Ortiz delivers in ninth inning for Red Sox. David Ortiz get the hero welcome after his walk-off homer in the ninth. Ortiz was sure his fly ball would be caught. So were the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. However, the game took a twist. Ortiz hit a 2-run homer in the ninth inning that barely cleared the low right-field wall. Eluding Delmon Young, it lifted the Boston Red Sox over the Tampa Bay Devil Rays 5-4 last night. That is very interesting and I am impressed.
