Sacrificed over 500 years ago perfectly preserved and now found and identified as Inca children and put in The museum of High Altitude of Archaeology. These children were found in Salta, Argentina. Buried under ground frozen perfectly preserved. Some were found in the fetus position others sitting or laying. The scientist constructed some of the kids together. They believe they had to have been there for at least 500 years. In greater detail to were they were found it was at the peak of Mount Llullaillaco. In that civilization were the children were found it was customary to take the most perfect condition kids and feed them something for them to have a internal slumber. The kids that were sacrificed were thought to have looked upon the village from the top of the Mountain as angels with the ancestors. The significant test that were done on the children show that they are unrelated and were well taken care off. One of the children must have developed bronchiolitis.I think that in there culture children are the most sacraced thing is great because I am a kid, but I feel sacrificing them was a excuse for getting ride of them.

Powerhouse Poway drops first water polo match of the year. Chris Gwinn and two other starters on the eagles boys water polo team are playing with added confidence this year. They rebounded from a four goal deficit in the first quarter to claim 12-10 victory. First they were scoreless and then erupted with three goals. The Eagles reached championship under coach Rhett Gaeir. Valhalla shared the crown with Granite Hills for two years. Then Granite Hill took it all for themselves. Caleb and Steve had three goals each for the Titans.
I think that their coach is doing a great job. Obviously they have been working hard to become this years champions. So they should keep training and working to be the best in the league.
They have not reached championships in thirteen seasons, until now.

- The San Diego Union Tribune
- Brush fire forces evacuation of town
- The article that I read today was about a significant brush fire that happened in Julian. In the article it said that a brush fire spanning about 500 acres northeast of Julian prompted authorities to urge all the city's residents to evacuate late yesterday afternoon. Law enforcement officials identified that they should stop all but emergency traffic on roads leading to the historic mountain town. Also the red cross constructed evacuation centers at Ramona and Borrego springs high schools. As of 8:30 p.m. an increase in humidity has slowed the fire and firefighters had it about 10 percent contained, said cal fire capt. Matt Streck. An unknown structure had burned and three firefighters were injured. Two of them were hit by a falling tree. And the third twisted an ankle. The blaze was called angel fire.
- I think that this article is pretty sad. I hope that no one died in this fire, I don’t think so because they didn’t mention any deaths. I hope that all the families are ok.
- one interesting that I learned was the actual article itself. I didn’t know that there was a fire that happened in Julian.

Parents to be tried in death of infant son.

'While visiting relatives in San Diego last year, a Washington couple woke one morning and discovered their baby boy's limbs had turned blue'. Police officers were called over to find the baby on the floor not breathing, while his father tries to revive him. The six month old infant dies on October 25, 2006. Medical Experts determined that the boy had suffered acute intoxication from over-the-counter medications. Lorie Jean Boettger, the mother, and Thomas Michael Boettger Sr. the father face charges of murder and child abuse. Both parents testify that they both give the infant sleeping pills because he has trouble sleeping at night. They also say that they lower the dosage and delute it in water. Both parents have experience in human health.

I don't understand why they would give an infant sleeping pills. They should know what could happen if given the slightest amount. Giving their child sleeping pills to sleep better at night will only make him rely on it to sleep at night. He needs to really be able to sleep on his own. I think those parents are bad parents and should get some type of punishment. I think they used it as an alibi and made it look like they might have accidently gave too much. There's no excuse in my eyes, you should never give medicine like that to an infant unless a doctor perscribes it.

I read about Iraq outlook is grim. There was a stark assessment yesterday by the nations intelligence agencies depicts a partied Iraqi government. The assessment known as a national indolence estimate casts strong doubts on the viability of the bush administrations strategy in Iraq. The report also implicitly criticize proposals offered by democrats including several presidential candidates calling for a withdrawal of U.S.. David pertains the latest U.S. commander in Iraq have turned Iraq citizens against armed groups putting them on the run and fracturing them. Two southern pored many allege by the Mahdi militia. About one-third of the U.S. casualties have been in Anbar province but that’s shifted since the troop increase began. In August about 10 percent of U.S. casualties occurred there compared with 30 percent in January when the buildup began. Shiites are fighting each other for control of the southern provinces.
Will I don’t think that it is good that we do not go to war cause a lot of people are dieing.
Will I think that the war is misting us up cause we don’t need to go to war.
There is a lot of kids die in the war and that’s not good cause there moms are sad that they are die.
It is Significant about this story.
they identify a lot of things and it was good to here a lot cause most people don’t say anything will it was a good story will that’s all I got to say.

GANG MEMBER SENTERNCED IN FATAL SHOOTING

Rico Flowers, a teenage identified gang member, was sentenced to 50 years to life. He fatally shot 17-year-old Marchannae Johnson of Murrieta in an apartment complex in Lincoln Park. He was sentenced on Thursday for first degree murder and other significant charges while being tried as an adult. A co-defendant, 28-year-old Darrell Brown, was also convicted of murder for constructing the crime with Flowers. Brown, known as an OG, was sentenced to 57 years to life. Seven shots rang out shortly after 4:00 a.m. in the Bay Vista parking lot shattering the car’s window, sending a bullet into Marchannae’s heart. Her and her friends had gone to the apartments after the party. One person in the group lived in the complex.

I think that this was not an accident. What ever happened that night was meant for somebody in that car. I don’t know what really urged them to shoot, but what ever it was must have been a big grudge.

Rico Flowers was 15 at the time of the shooting.

Parents to be tried in death of infant son.

This morning i read an article, on parents that had killed their 6 mon old baby. They had given there baby over the counter prescription medication. They had stated to the police that they have done it before. It was not their first time giving their child prescription meds. They are not facing chargers for Child abuse and murder. If they were to be convcte they could recieve a sentence of 15 years to life in prison. The parents of the infant also stated that the baby had not been sleeping well, so thats why they gave him sleeping medication. The parents dont seem worried. It just doesnt sound significant enough that they didnt know that the baby would die. They have enough evidence to identify that they purposely gave the baby prescription drugs.

I think that the parents should be convicted of the crimes. Because i mean who the heck would give a baby ove the counter drugs?!? THATS NOT RIGHT.

♥ San Diego Union Tribune
♥ Brush fire forces evacuation of town
♥ This morning I read about a brush fire that is spanning about 500 a cres northeast of Julian on Saturday. The fire is now causing authorities to urge all the city's resident's to evacuate their homes. Law enforcement officials stopped all but emergency traffic on roads leading into the historic mountain town. Even the high schools in Borrego Springs and Ramona had evacuation centers set up by the Red Cross. The fire is getting so big that while trying to put it out, threee firefighters were injured. Two of which were identified as members of a prison inmate crew hit by a falling tree near Angel POint. More than 500 firefighters from 30 departments in California & Arizona responded to the giant fire. Meanwhile, the rest of the fire crews continued to focus on extinguishing a fire near Pine Valley in East County.
♥ Interesting Fact: Roughly 400 homes were evacuated from town.

With foreclosures skyrocketing in the U.S. everybody is really concentrated on those news and trying to fix that problem, yet they forget that rents have increased so much in the past few years. The rents are so high in some areas of the U.S. that many residents have had to leave their apartments for smaller ones or simply have been left without a place to live. Many senior citizens don’t know how to maintain themselves above debt since most can’t work and the checks they receive from Social Security can’t cover rent and their expenses. In the San Francisco area alone a full time worker would have to earn $29.83 an hour without spending on anything else in order to pay for the rent of a two bedroom apartment. Rents in the U.S. are at an all time high and have no promise of being reduced. It is significant that we take time to ponder in the information since it affects so many people.

Just the way you are
This article I read was based on a kid who was picked on when he was little because he was short. Everyday as he came home from school he would tell his mom, how he wished to be someone else. He thought to himself if only I could be a bit taller. That way no one would have any reason to longer pick on me. His mom would always tell him he was just perfect the way he was. Like every mother says to their children. In his mother’s eyes her son was an angel and as beautiful as can be. As the years passed, at different stages he began to learn how life really was and what people were all about. Once he grew up and finished his school he became someone big and important. He began to produce music for everyone to hear. This little kid who was once picked on is now known as Billy Joel, a rock/pop/classical singer. One thing this article made me reflect on after I read it was that it showed how people can cope or learn later in life the meaning of what others think. As one grows older and older they figure out how things really are. At some point you’ll end up realizing how important you are to yourself and how unimportant other people’s opinions are and then you will learn to take value of your life and appreciate the things you have..

Union Tribune: Prosecutor says Sen. Craig was urged to get a lawyer.
In Minneapolis the prosecutor who brought charges against Sen. Larry Craig in an airport sex sting says that the senator should hire an attorney. Craig pleaded guilty to misdemeanor disorderly conduct. He said that he was panicked into admitting to a crime he did not commit. Craig’s arrest and guilty plea weren't reported in the new media until Aug. 27. On Sept. 1 Craig announced plans to resign by sep 30. He later suggested he might stay in the Senate if he could successfully overturn his plea. Senator Craig was arrested by an undercover police officer in a sting in an airport bathroom known as meeting place for anonymous sex. The officer alleged Craig peered into his stall, slid his foot under a divider to touch the officer's and swiped his hand under the divider as a signal that he was soliciting sex. In a plea bargain Craig admitted to disorderly conduct and paid 575 in fines and fees. I think that this story is funny because well he got caught and he is a Senator. I also think that it is discussing because he was willing to have sex with someone he did not know. I also feel sorry for not him but his wife because she had to find out he was gay.
