Record label puts You-Tube to work.
As you know, You-tube has become a very popular site for entertainment purposes. YouTube is also known as a hotspot for future artists such as 24 year-old singer/guitarist Marie Digby. Digby was offered a record deal with Hollywood Records in 2005. Digby would sing popular songs in her own version, record it in her living room, and post it on YouTube but name it as the original name of the song. Digby was smart because since no one knows who she is, she would post the original name of the song for people who were looking for the song to find it. Her videos have been viewed over 2.3 million times, which showered light upon herself and caught herself a record deal.
I think it is amazing how YouTube is another way of finding inspired artists such as Marie Digby. She is lucky to have been found that way because not that many producers or people that are capable of making people someone stand out in the world search for people in the internet.

I read about a regretful but unapologetic Staff Sgt. Frank Wuterich who described yesterday the day when he and his Marine squad killed 24 men, women and children in Haditha, Iraq. In a clear voice Wuterich said the death of civilians still weighs on his mind. However he maintained that this unit couldn’t avoid killing noncombatants during a legitimate battle with insurgents on Nov. 19, 2005. Prosecutors contend that Wuterich and his squad went ballistic after a roadside bomb hit their convoy, killing a Marine and wounding two others. They have identified Wuterich, the senior Marine present during the alleged massacre, as their No. 1 target in the case. He is charged with 17 counts of murder for fatally shooting five men who were near the bomb blast, and then killing 12 people in several nearby homes. A member of his squad named Stephen Tatum, faces two counts of murder for his role in the deaths. In addition, three officers are charged with dereliction of duty for allegedly not investigating the killings properly.

-Mexican trucks get green light to cross over
The article that I read today was about the Mexican truckers crossing the border. Mexican trucks could begin rolling across the border. Officials said it would probably several days for the companies to construct out the new routes. The unprecedented border opening which the administration said was identified under the NAFTA marks the first time that Mexican trucks will be allowed to travel beyond a 25 mile buffer zone to which they have been confined to since 1982. it also marks the first time that US trucks will be allowed the same access in Mexico. The program will allow up to 100 Mexican companies to deliver their loads anywhere in the country. So far 38 Mexican trucking firms have gotten clearance.
-I think that this article significant. I think it is a good program that they said up. This way it will be easier to smuggle the drugs over here. That will cut off a lot of work that we have to do.
-One interesting thing that I learned is the story itself. I didn’t know that they were planning a program like this.
PARK OFFICIALS GIVE UPDATE ON RENTAL COTTAGES AT BEACH
California State Parks officials are spreading the word about a plan to install 10 rental cottages at Silver Strand State Beach. The state beach is 2 ½ miles long which is for recreation vehicles, motor homes or trailers. State officials say the cottages will be placed in a row in parking Lot 3, just south of a lot used by RV campers. The cottages my rent from under $100 to nearly $200 a night. This estimate comes from if it is in the busy season or the off season. The simple furnished cottage measure about 200 square feet. They will offer affordable beach accommodations for those who don’t own an RV. If they are successful, 14 more may be considered in the future.
I agree with these cottages because people will be renting them, not owning them. I like that they have a nice view of the beach and are a nice size. Instead of renting a room from a hotel, you can get all the in a bigger size for a little less.
The officials say that parking will be difficult, because 32 parking spaces are being wiped of to make way for the cottages.
BOLT FANS READY TO MOVE PAST THEIR PAIN.....
Today i read about the fans of the Chargers and how they felt about the heart breaking loss to the patriots last year. In this article i read that the Charger season begins with the team taking on the Chicago Bears and ending in a win. The fans wont forget the january defeat and the ywant it purged from their memories.They want a frsh start. They want to cheer agian.
I think that its good that the fans are gainging their faith agian and they are hoping that the Chargers will do better this year which they are so far..

Today I read about FBI looks into bomb threats at stores. There was large grocery and discount stores in at least 11 states have been targeted in the past week by a caller who threatens to blow up shoppers and workers with a bomb if employees fail to wire money to an account overseas law enforcement authorities said yesterday. The FBI and police are investigating similar bomb threats at more than 15 stores across the country including a Vons supermarket in Vista on Friday. He often claims to be able to see inside the store but officials believe he was making it up. The first of the treats that federal investigators are aware of came Aug. 23 at a Safeway in sandy Ore. They called the incident a robbery attempt that was part of a nationwide scam. The man claimed he could see some workers standing up and order them to sit down.
I think that it was wrong to do that cause that is a lot of people to kill.
The people that were in the store should think of something to do to them.
Will I think that it is good to see all the people at out of life will that’s all I got to say.
Can China make its exports safe?
There are many issues held against the products that are made from China. New is stating that these products can be dangerous to all because of the substances it contains such as lead. The public reaction to the sale of contaminated goods to American have become a bigger problem. And if this small issue is not solved fast, soon enough the issue will grow larger, putting in danger homes and family. China’s trade could led to an emotional issue during a harsh election, and cause change with the relationship between China and US. Quality control will become a world issue, with goods from Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, India and other countries increasing the scale of manufacturing. But quality control has never been an issue. American tourists go to some of China’s most urbane cities, without noticing what really goes on behind the rural areas where living standards, pollution, and corruption are bigger problems. But the real question is, does China have enough time to take solve the issue of food safety, or most know as lead poising? Most officials in China state that China has tons of superior and much more critical issue to handle. Some have stated that the culture between the two countries is what makes the difference. China settle for less and the top leaders concentrate most on keeping their economy growing. Unlike America the demand is for the best of benefits and safety. Right now US existing crisis is to point out the needs for new policies dealing with closer inspection by private companies importing goods and some movement of action from our government. If these measures are not undertaken, this can harm US retailers . Basically, what I believe we need to do right now is take care of all the products that were found to be contaminated and get rid of them. Next hopefully China can fix there issue on the production of their goods. But for meanwhile maybe we can trade with Europe which is said to be safer.
♥ Officials probe attack on surfers
♥ U.S. Consulate officials are working with Mexican authorities to figure out if some men who were recently arrested by federal investigators assaulted and robbed a group of North County surfers. The North County surfers were assulted and robbed just before the Labor Day weekend. The spokeman for U.S. Consulate in T.J., Charles Smith, says that officials have heard of two other attacks and that it could not have been the ones they had just arrested. But they are trying to identify the recently arrested men friends because it could easily be group attacks. Smith says that all the cases appear to be similar so chances are that it was the mens' friends that were all in it together. One of the North County surfers says that he still can picture one of the men's face so officials are trying to cath the culprit(s) with pictures. Information on theses cases have mostly been from word-of-mouth and internet but no actual victim except one of the surfers is talking out of fear for their safety.

China won men’s gymnastics title. China claimed another men’s gymnastic world championship In Stuttgart, Germany. The win was led by Yang Wei, their champion. China got its third consecutive worlds gold medal. China beat Japan by 4.875 and Germany by 8.375. Japan was thought to be a challenge. However, Japan ended up looking sloppy. They performed solidly on floor routines.
Union tribune: Iran’s President on attack.
In New York city President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that Iran would not launch an attack on Israel or any other country. He also said that he did no believe the U.S is preparing for war against Iran. The president of Iran dismissed statements that military officers report that Iran is selling weapons to insurgents fighting in Iraq. He said that he would not allow that because they are friends with both Iraq and Afghanistan and this would just involve them in a fight that is not theirs. Ahmadinejad said Iranian foreign policy was based on humanitarian concerns and seeking justice, they are not interested in stirring up problems. The spokes men of Israel said that Iran is an aggressive and expansionist policy. This war in Iraq has affected Iranians even thought they are not in it. There have been some casualties because Iranians go to Iraq to visit the Holy sites and end up in the middle of a suicide bombing. The Government has asked for people to stop visiting Iraq until security is restored. I think that it is so crazy how these people care so little about themselves and about the people they hurt. I think that people should stop to visit Iraq they are putting their lives on the line.
